Looney & Grossman's Wesley S. Chused was a featured speaker at the 24th Annual Transportation Innovation and Cost Savings Conference, held in Toronto on September 23, 2010.  Wes' presentation focused on Motor Carrier Limitations of Liability, specifically, the origins of motor carrier cargo liability and the limitations of liability principles. 

The one-day conference has become the largest educational event for shippers and supply chain practitioners in Canada, providing an opportunity for companies from the consumer goods, automotive, transportation, and grocery industries to learn and exchange views on logistics innovation and cost savings.

Wes has served as a faculty member of the Transportation Law Institute and is an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association, the Association of Transportation Law Professionals, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, and the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He is the immediate Past Chairman of the Conference of Freight Counsel (2007 to 2008).
