Gabriel T. Dym concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, and liability defense and coverage in professional malpractice disputes. In addition to general liability defense and commercial litigation, Gabe has represented corporate clients in the areas of environmental liability, regulation, construction, and employment litigation.
Gabe also works with the Transportation & Maritime Practice Group representing commercial and recreational vessel owners and operators, marinas, shipyards, professional mariners, marine trades providers and boat haulers with matters involving insurance defense, litigation, salvage, administrative proceedings and commercial transactions.
Prior to joining Looney & Grossman LLP, Gabe was an associate at a Boston-area litigation boutique firm. He was also an assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, where he prosecuted criminal cases in courts throughout Middlesex County.
Gabe graduated cum laude from Tufts University in 2001, where he was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society and a Writing Fellow. In 2006 he graduated from Boston University School of Law, where he was part of the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal, a student-run non-partisan publication dedicated to the public interest. Gabe was chosen to take part in the Albers Honors Moot Court competition during his second year at Boston University, and during his third year, was selected as a student judge for first year students.
Gabe is admitted to practice law before the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association, and is also on the Advisory Committee of Future Chefs, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people reach their career goals in the culinary arts. |
