Ruttenberg, Esq. at the MCLE seminar, “Advising Businesses on Bankruptcy & Restructuring.” This program features a panel of experienced practitioners explaining how businesses use bankruptcy and restructuring strategies to respond to or fend off potential calamitous events. The program addresses the pros and cons of bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy alternatives, timing considerations in seeking relief under the Bankruptcy Code, the next steps after a business bankruptcy case is filed, how a business can emerge from bankruptcy, and how creditors and other parties in interest can protect themselves in bankruptcy cases.
