On April 11, 2008, Alex Jones assumed the role as President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (“AFCC”), an international interdisciplinary organization of lawyers, judges and mental health professionals dedicated to improving the court process for children. Alex was elected in 2007 and has been an active board member of the Massachusetts Chapter since 2004.
Alex, an Associate in Looney & Grossman’s Domestic Relations Practice Area, specializes in all areas of domestic relations, ranging from negotiating divorce agreements outside of court to the litigation of domestic relations proceedings at both the trial and appellate levels.
Alex is a 1996 honors graduate of Binghamton University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 2000 he graduated with dual degrees from Boston College Law School and Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Alex has been selected as a Rising Star in the legal profession in Boston Magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
