Please join Adam J. Ruttenberg, Esq. at the “How to Handle Consumer Bankruptcies Seminar.” This program features a panel of experienced practitioners and trustees who give an overview of procedural and substantive law and what must be done to satisfy the many bankruptcy constituencies and obtain a discharge for your client. The program is a must for those who practice in the Bankruptcy Court in Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 cases. The programs offers developmental skills in the following topics: applying the “means test” and the other eligibility requirements of BAPCPA, proposing a confirmable Chapter 13, what it takes to obtain a Chapter 7 discharge, what creditors and landlords can do during the bankruptcy case, and the requirements imposed on debtors’ attorneys. This program will be presented from 9 AM to 5 PM on different dates and at two different locations as follows: Wednesday, October 22, at the Massachusetts School of Law (Andover, MA) and Wednesday, October 29, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Worcester, MA). We look forward to seeing you there!
