Nancy L. Perlman concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law and general business law. She has represented businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes, including employment, contract and corporate matters. Nancy has extensive experience in handling all aspects of the employer-employee relationship from hiring to discharge. She has handled a diverse assortment of cases, with particular emphasis on employment discrimination prevention and litigation; sexual harassment; employee policy manuals; wage and hour investigations; and restrictive covenant agreements. Together with Elizabeth Adler, Nancy offers seminars designed to educate and update managerial and supervisory personnel on various facets of employment law.
Nancy was born in Plainview, New York. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1993, and a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1996. She is admitted to practice law before the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, The United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, The First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Nancy has been named a Massachusetts Rising Star in the legal profession by Super Lawyers each year since 2005. She is also a member of the Boston Bar Association.
