Paul J. McNamara specializes in property and probate law, including estate administration, estate tax, and succession planning for individuals and business entities. Also, Paul has a national practice representing lenders in the area of real estate finance which entails drafting and negotiation of all loan documentation, including four-party agreements between borrowers, equity investors, construction lenders and permanent lenders, as well as the review of all due diligence matters relating to title, survey, zoning and environmental issues. Paul is admitted as a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (1965).
Before joining Looney & Grossman LLLP, Paul was Partner at Masterman, Culbert & Tully LLP and at Csaplar & Bok. He has achieved an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating of Martindale Hubbard and has been selected as a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyer for several years including 2013.
Paul is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. 1962), where he also earned his J.D. in 1965. During his forty-year professional career, Paul maintained a presence on the campus of both Boston College and Boston College Law School. He was the recipient of the Boston College Law School 1989 Alumnus of the Year Award. He has served on the Board of Directors of the International Marketing Institute at Boston College and on the Board of Overseers of the Boston College Law School.
Additionally, serving the public community is very important and significant to Paul. Among the boards on which he was a member are the Boston Institute for Arts Therapy, the Irish International Immigration Center, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston, and the Leadership Committee for the Boston Area Order of Malta.
Currently, Paul is President of the 275-year-old Charitable Irish Society of Boston, the President of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Boston and the Board of Directors for the BiNA Farm, an organization that is dedicated to providing a therapeutic and recreational environment utilizing Equine Assisted Therapies. Paul is also elected to membership at the Boston Probate Forum, the Abstract Club of Boston and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.Contact Paul J.
